Conference Information

When: Tuesday, May 29 through Friday, June 1, 2012

Where: The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort, Palm Desert, CA

What's Standard: A wide variety of presentations on a number of topics, including the following: scholarship, teaching, legal analysis, writing, research, academic support, professional career development, and more. Also, the conference will continue to have a track designed for newer professors, including the critiquing workshop, as well as a poster presentation session, the LWI Committee Fair, and possibly a pre-conference golf tournament.

What’s New: An Opening Reception on Tuesday, May 29, at 7:30pm, which will feature a scrumptious selection of desserts, along with an open beer and wine bar; come meet and mingle with old and new colleagues! On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings, coffee and light continental breakfast will be available. In addition, the morning coffee session presentations will kick off at 9am.

Payment Options: You may register and pay for the 15th Biennial Conference of the Legal Writing Institute online. If you wish to pay by check, please register online, then simply print the confirmation screen or the registration receipt that will be sent to your email address, and send it with your check made payable to "The Legal Writing Institute" to: The Legal Writing Institute c/o Michael J.
